As you stroll through the royal town of Kouřim, you will see the movie backdrops of many films, series and commercials in your mind. Most often you will probably think of the iconic series There Were Five of Us and Mr Bajza's Colony.
In the centre of Kourim, check out the museum and also discover the bells hanging upside down in the bell tower next to St. Stephen's Church. Explore the surrounding area. On your wanderings, don't miss the Old Kouřim nature trail, which will take you to places inhabited around 5000 years BC. In the nearby open-air museum you can explore the folk architecture of the 19th century. Don't expect a gastronomic show, but you can have a delicious coffee or wine here.
